Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Reaction, a desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux. By installing or using Reaction, or by starting a trial or subscription, you agree to them.
Who we are
Reaction (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) is a subscription desktop application distributed from getreaction.app.
We do not take your money directly. Card payments are processed by our Merchant of Record — Lemon Squeezy or Paddle, whichever is shown at checkout — which is the seller of record for your purchase and is responsible for billing, invoices and sales tax. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by Cryptomus. Their terms apply to the payment transaction in addition to these terms.
Your licence
While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Reaction.
- One licence activates the application on one device. The device limit is enforced by our licence server.
- Your licence key (format RCTN-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is personal to you. Do not share, resell or publish it.
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the application, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
- The application remains our property. You are buying access, not ownership.
Subscription, trial and billing
Reaction is sold as a single plan: $7 per month or $50 per year.
- Card subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required up front, and unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
- Cryptocurrency payments are prepaid for one period. They carry no trial and do not renew automatically — access simply ends when the period runs out.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Acceptable use
Reaction is a presence and anti-idle utility. You are responsible for using it lawfully and in line with the agreements that apply to you — for example your employment contract, your client contracts, and the terms of any platform you use it alongside.
You must not use Reaction to defraud anyone, to misrepresent work you have not performed, or in any way that breaks the law where you live or work. We may suspend or terminate a licence used this way, and we may refuse service to anyone.
Updates and availability
Reaction updates itself. We may change, add or remove features, and we may release fixes at any time.
We aim to keep the licence and download services available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may take systems down for maintenance.
Termination
You may stop using Reaction and cancel your subscription at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you break these terms, abuse the service, or if a payment is reversed or charged back. If we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current period.
Disclaimer and liability
Reaction is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome with any third-party software or platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Reaction is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income, lost contracts, or disciplinary or contractual consequences arising from your use of the application.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use Reaction after that means you accept the updated terms.
